An apartment can include a ton of different amenities, but if you are not allowed to use them or they are not included in your rental amount and you have to pay quite a bit extra for them, then this is often a scam and not a good deal for the tenant. They were lured there with the idea that they get all those amenities and then find out that they have to either go without   them or pay a lot extra to get it done.

This is why you need to clarify which amenities are included in the new apartment building before you are able to move in. You can either look at the description for the property and see whether those included amenities are listed out. Or you can choose to go with asking the landlord to see what they say and get a straight answer for them.

The more specific that you can find the property description, the better. New furniture, utilities, and other costs that come with moving into an apartment can add up quickly. And when some of these are not told to you right from the start, it can be frustrating. You do not want to spend a ton of money along the way on expenses that you should have known about ahead of time, but that the property manager or landlord hid from you.

Another thing to check out before you move into the apartment is some of the upfront costs. These include all of the rental fees, security deposits, and even additional month’s rent that you have to pay to the landlord. Establishing these ahead of time will really help as well. Looking at the rental terms so that the landlord doesn’t do a bait and switch and charge you more down the line can make a world of difference. Always ask about some of the fees that seem off to you.
